Lastly, developers may elect to take a hybrid approach that mixes two or more of the preceding methodologies.  For example, developers might use SAML for Single Sign-On (SSO), the .NET library to build the transmittal XML, and Selerix QX Web Services (SOAP) to communicate with BenSelect.  Many developers have used this approach to successfully interface with BenSelect.  Just be aware that the more versatile the approach, the greater the complexity and the higher the technical aptitude.
